WEL Phone Call Today

I had the opportunity to speak on the phone with John Knowles, Wildcat's CEO, this morning. I had a number of questions which he gladly answered for me and these are some of things that might be of interest:

1. There is no financing being worked on at present. It is likely that some funding will need to be raised for the 2009 program, so we might expect to see something on that toward the end of 2008, but there is nothing specific on that yet and we will have to wait and see what form that takes when it comes.

2. The 2008 exploration program is going well. The one crew working at Foster River has wrapped up their work. There is another crew up there doing structural mapping to explore possible connections between areas of interest in the Fable Lake and Sito Lake area. There is another crew headed up to Reed Lake next week, and there is some surface work being done in the Bissett area. Most of this was already described in detail in news releases issued.
Plans are to continue to moving forward with exploration work, and it is likely that contractors and other personnel will be easier to get in the months ahead as other juniors are beginning to scale back their activities due to the current market conditions.

3. There is nothing new on the litigation between the company and the previous CEO. Expectation still is that there eventually will be a resolution that will be positive for Wildcat.

So everything is going according to plan at Wildcat. Recent fluctuations in the share price are not related to anything specific that is known, but seem to be a reflection of the current weakened equity markets for juniors everywhere – something that provides investment opportunities for investors and for companies like Wildcat.

Respectfully,

NL
