WEL Litigation?

Robbertop - going back to my post #868661 from June after the SGR AGM, I posted:

- There are still some legal goings-on between the former CEO and the Company, but it seems doubtful that anything adverse will come out of them. John Knowles has taken over as the new CEO and is moving forward with the company's objective: exploration.

The gist of the conversation was that the former CEO had filed a wrongful dismaissal suit against WEL claiming damages, but he was already employed by another company so he would likely have a tough time proving loss of money. He also was suing for defamation and unfounded accusations and the like, but the reasons for his dismissal were all based on facts as found in official financial statements and company auditor's reports. It is hard to build a case when it was only facts that were presented.

As I understood it, WEL has filed a counterclaim so it is most likely that there will finally be a settlement that cancels both claims. This is my opinion only and should not be used as the basis for any decisions you might make. Do your own DD. Call John Knowles and ask him where things are at on this - he seemed very approachable and I am sure would take your call if he is available.

When you do call him, perhaps you could also inquire as to whether there might be another PP. The way the shares have sold off the last day or two have me wondering whether it might be because there is another PP coming (if there was and it was a flow-through, you could see why someone might sell at .11 or .10 and replace it with a flow-through at similar pricing -- just speculation on my part; I have no knowledge of any intended share offering at this time).
