Dundee dumps almost 1 million shares yesterday and buys the debenture big time today. Coincidence? No, there are no coincidences, something is afoot. Somebody, through Dundee, just bought 10% control over the debt at 1/2 price. That's ~ 10 million shares if converted. And seeing as Goodman uses the Buffet model to buy when things are on sale, I can't not think it is him and he is positioning on the long side given his latest thesis that it is time for gold to kick some long anticipated ass.
The thing is, what broker dealer allows $150k leverage on $2.5 million? Which basicall is selling 1 million shares to secure ownership of 10 million plus the interest payment.
