"The new CEO, George Pirie, has started to turn San Gold around"
New? Turn San Gold around? The company has been devalued by about 60-70% since Pirie was hired.
Perhaps the story should read -
"The new CEO, George Pirie, about as new as the Jurassic period, was hired and spread the hopium that everything was fine and shareholder value would be increasing, he finally took off the rose coloured shades and stopped blowing smoke up the collective retail investor's behinds only after his sugar daddy Ned Goodman had positioned the starship to take full advantage of the uber volatility and downward share price spiral...has started to turn San Gold around"
If this is the end to the poor performance and crap of the last 2 1/2 years, why does Dundee Wealth and Goodman have considerably more shares and most of us have considerably less?
This is a case of the 1% bending over the other 99.
