Andy, if we"er talking Development Waste then sure there would be alot of ore some were on surface. The 150 + contractor"s doing the development would cut through alot of gold bearring ore as they tunnel there way opening stope faces and drifting into gold zones. This development ore should be classified as Development oz and not production oz. San or any other miner out there could count this as production ore and pay bonusses on it . PS " only gussing here, but who looks for this to see in Sans case with over 140 million flowthrough spent on Dev i have only seen 2,000 classified as Dev oz.All miniers have the upper hand on there balance sheets on this topic which forensic accounting could pinpoint....not saying San did anything wrong here, but there is a fine line betwen production and development when mucking out the oer.without prejudice Traps7
