Either these guys know there is a mighty deposit to the West and North of them,(how could they?) ......................past geology going back to the 30 ties the days of the depresion small mining towns survived around the Town of Bissett. Vanson sitting North West 2.4K on the same structure as Sans main mine, used a steam Mill for yrs before upgrading to electricity.Mining expanded with picks and shovels being replaced with jack hammers. News reports mention vissible gold all the way down the shaft................Luana Town site a short 4.5 K West was also expanding...Wild Cat mine a large producer sits just North West of Luana.According to the Manitoba Gelogical Dept there we"er alot of old mines near Bisset and now San issues a few shares and takes over the whole belt..History from Bissett, shows of decades of drilling prior San taking over. Dales decade of employment with previous owners was a good match taking over the mine. Lines we"er drawen in the san d and joint ventures were made. Mining plans we"er drawen up and the past is History...without prejudice.Traps7

HISTORY OF EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT
The deposit is located about 2.4 km northeast of the San Antonio Mine, north of the Wanipigow (Hole) River and 1.6 km north of Provincial Road No.\304. Early staking of the property was as follows:

1924 Syndicate No. 9 38054 E. Arnovitch
- assigned to R.W. Killey in 1927
1924 Syndicate No. 10 38066 S. Bubis
- assigned to R.W. Rilley in 1925.

The claims were explored and developed by a syndicate. A shaft on Syndicate No. 9 was begun in 1926 and 1927. In 1935 this shaft was deepened and expanded until it reached a depth of 148 m. In 1932 Vanson Gold Mines Limited was formed and took control of Syndicate No. 9 and 10, along with several other claims. A 23 tonne capacity mill was installed in 1933. This mill proved unsatisfactory and was replaced by a 2-stamp mill with a capacity of about 16.3 tonnes per day. Newspaper reports mention the ore was running $11 per tonne and some gold was produced (Manitoba Mines Branch). Some trenching was done on other Syndicate claims. Spectacular high grade ore was reported in 1932 and 1934 (Manitoba Mines Branch, Company Report 1932). Early in 1934 Vanson Manitoba Gold Mines Limited took control of Vanson Gold Mines Limited.
