San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
i think you will see that san will change its approach on how it will mine....it will be more selective in the excavation of the veins....up to now they have taken bigger widths because they have assumed the continuity shown at the face translates the same for at least the next round.....i think that you will see that the excavation will be kept to a minimum(width wise) and only after they have advanced horizontally will they excavate to the required width.....this should reduce the amount of waste(0%) rock that will be mixed in with the ore.......
i think that up to now san has had a problem producing ounces because it was limited by the quantity of production faces......so they were hoping that by using less selective mining methods they would produce ounces by getting more tons.......hope is what farmers and miners survive on sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong......any ways for the past year and a half san has invested relatively big bucks in delineating mineralized zones as well as the horizontal and vertical excavations required to mine these mineralized zones....that is they have developed more production faces......this should give them more flexibility to produce higher grade mill feed.....i know i know who gives a rats behind this has all been said before.....
the one nice thing about the past years performance of san is that they have been able to
apparently do the drilling and development without having to go to the banks.....do flow throughs.....and/or private placements......my understanding is that they plan on spending in excess of 15 million in 2012 in development underground and this money is coming from internal cashflows not the banks...and that this underground develoment is meant to improve productivety by reducing bottlenecks inthe flow of ore from the production face to the mill....
with regards to management giving a rats behind about what i have to say or you have to say on a blog is not important to them.... we might be 100 speculators/shareholders who control less than 1% of this company.....and ablog of this size is not going to motivate them.....the best thing to do is go to the annual meeting donot take the pr bs answers as answers and make them answerable to you not the press....i know i know who gives a rats behind what i have to say.....have an eventful FRIDAY THE 13th......
