San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
"Time to get a union involved and set up some Right"s"
Traps, I hesitate to comment on a union/non-union discussion as this is such a polarized issue. To be honest, I didn't know if SAN had unionized workers or not. Manitoba, being a bastion of socialism, it would not surprise me in the least if they were. But if not, I respectfully disagree that a union will bring in some missing "rights". Just my opinion.
Although I fully support fairness and employee benefits when earned, if indeed it is even a problem at SAN, bringing in a union to accomplish this will also bring in the "not so unexpected consequences" of a unionized environment. I would prefer SAN not be distracted with this, rather stay focused on building the company and following the model of the many very successful non-unionized companies.
All will benefit, employees, management and shareholders alike, if SAN puts up the numbers we all expect they are capable of.
