I heard Michael Levi (money talks)suggest that the Japanese quake will be negative for gold as Japanese citizens are big buyers of gold and will not be able to afford to buy more and may have to sell what they have. I broke into laughter LOL and wondered who he was repeating. On a hunch I went to Kitco and read Jon Nadler. Low and behold Levi appears to follow the writing of one of the biggest losers in history. I told my wife that IMHO the Japanese Government will need to sell all of it's US Treasuries to help pay for the rebuild and the implications for the US dollar coming from one of it's biggest holders selling, would be positive for the POG. Time will tell who is right. Me or Levi, however it appears others have my opinion as well.
