IMO, after some thinking , it looks like the last three option expiry dates have led to an attack to get the PM prices down to around $1360. They probably short tons of paper above that price and then require a price that will limit the conversion of in the money options. It looks to my untrained eye that it is getting tougher to maintain this level. If I have a read on the fraudsters, we will see a rapid rise in PM prices next week, thus eliminating as many new contract between this lower level ($1340-$1360) and the new higher price that they will decide that will be the new base for future take downs. We will see on Monday if I have a future in the analytical field. lol
