I guess the point you are making, is you can find optimism or pessimism, depending on what places you go to seek information. We actually have plenty to fear ("wall of worry") as we move ahead and that is why I stay optimistic. This month alone we see Quadruple witching, only to be followed by the dreaded October(phsycological month of crashes.) November election around the corner provides incentive to keep the dollar and stocks stable(bad for gold). This time around, however I think the smart money is going to use this period as a buying opportunity. Perhaps one of the last good opps in the near term.

Every day more people wake up to the fraud called fiat money and the federal reserve. Pensioners are having a lifetime of meaningful work stolen right out from under them by a generation of paper pushers and fast talkers that have never produced a thing that mankind really needs. Instead we now borrow money, using over inflated assetts as collateral and then use the phoney money to pay others to make things we want, but really do not need. This ponzi scheme is doomed to fail and you better have hard assetts to store your savings, gold is only one of them. OMHO
