San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
A TSX listing isn't the "be all or end all!" In fact if you review some of SAN's peers who trade on Bay, while some have had higher highs, they have also had lower lows. Rubicon stands out, as its lows were much lower than SAN's during this "correction!"
There may be some advantages to trading in TO, but gold "in them thar hills" overrides them all! (Or the perception of the same!)
The boys from Richmond, IMHO, aren't even part of SAN's equation! Shawn, while he might be a nice kid, he's way out of his element on this one. Passing coupons out at a Swedish Meatball display at Safeway would even challenge his persona and promotional (sales) abilities. (While it may have offered him the training he lacks!)
I say this without any malice aforthought, but as a result of having talked to and carefully watched him and his mentor "perform" on SAN's behalf at several Gold shows! Strangely, I was'nt the only Investor to come away with this oppinion! Compared to others, mine was somewhat muted.
As far as valuation of any stock in any market "perception" is the key elemnet! I challenge anyone to acclaim "fair valuation" of any equity intil the value of "perception" is exhausted. With SAN this SP driver has been ominouslty absent considering the employment of a "professional" IR dept!
