San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Regarding the lack of TSX listing which Dale first announced two years a ago at the AGM. I would say Dale got off easy without having to explain why it's taken so long (they did have to get the 43101 updated first which clearly took a very long time). Even if someone pressed him on it, Dale would have danced his way around it, he was on his game and confident. I sensed he was embarrassed because clearly he/they overpromised and under delivered. My guess is, one of the major instituational holders of the stock didn't want us on the big board yet. I believe it will happen within 2 months, but don't hold me to it.
The fact is, there was 151 shareholders present and the share price has doubled since last AGM and the resource is shaping up to be bigger than most of us could have ever imagined.Note to mention it's high grade and much of it 100 to 450 meters from surface and will be easily accessed from a decline or from the current mine workings. From the presentation material displayed on the screen it's clear these guys have done a great job on the exploration front, make fast progress on the hinge (development and bulk sample) and are at the front door of the 007 zone at 800 feet from surface and are actively drilling new zones eg Emperior and ?. Dale even mentioned he thought they would find at least two more deposits this year.
IMHO the main thing to crap on them over, would be the production numbers aren't up to Dale's forecasts yet, but then again, the share price has doubled. Perhaps the handlers are having Management move slow on the production or avg grade through the mill, after all, the gold will still be there ready to hit the mill when the big guy calls for it.
Silver, I wouldn't quite call it a love in, but give credit to Dale for a good (new) presentation and answering all the questions effectively. Hey, we even got a new IR guy and a new website which Dale promises to have updated better for existing and prospective investors.
Clearly this will be a good year for SGR and even better for shareholders if the rumors over a take over come true. Time will tell.
regards,
