Top down manipulation (Ie, manipulating the price downward, an obvious fear-mongering process) is unusual unless the manipulator's goal is to go home with "all" the marbles, common shareholders be damned!

The "whole" bag of tricks will be employed!

Shorting (naked shorting only one of their tools! ) is of course a commonly used "weapon" to keep prices in check, and down where it fits, was out of this "bag of tricks" early in the "Game!" (Of course, just the process when successful adds to their bottom line significantly!)

One of SAN's masters, in a previous TO, (Eskay Creek) was labelled by the national press during the exercize as the "Master Shorter!" (Not to be confused with the Newfy fishing term of "Master-baiter")

The press in that situation also declared that the "Master Shorter" because of his use of multiple brokerage houses was virtually impossible to "track" vis-a-vis His selling and aquiring shares!

I say more power to Him if he can drive us asunder!

Adding to that though, I say to Him and his Cronies, "kiss me where the sun don't shine because as they divide their spoils I will be at the table!"
