you both have good points.

the news, if as bonanza as merc19 has said, should move us up in valuation, gold is still high and will move higher.

but the catch is, like Rookie has mentioned in his post, what will happen if an external event comes along and the markets tumble.

The market is currently way over bought and there are many itchy trigger fingers out there, at least that is the sentiment that I have been reading on all of the boards that I follow. Currency devaluation and appreciation are having an effect on what an investment should be valued at in real terms.

Who defines the real terms in this case.

Right now for me, the investments that I hold and what I am hping to get as a target, changes every day, its like surfing the pipe and knowing that it is going to close and feeling the water crashing down on you.

"gnarly" as the surf rats would say, i need to navigate my board into the clear and my pocket full of luck.
