Is it only me or does anyone else smell a potential rat. The fraudsters at the CFTC meeting appeared a little too smug for me. Could this expose all be a staged event, designed to make us all believe that the cat is now out of the bag. Imagine however, if everyone loses faith in the paper products and starts to dump them, will the phony gold market not collapse and the POG with it. Would the ensuing chaos in the markets not create the perfect smoke screen for them to cover all the shorts that they have accumulated at a huge profit. To help the scammers pull it off, the government could call for a temporary suspension of all of the physical sales until they finish with their investigation. Of course the price collapse would be temporary as the physical would again push up the price and of course it would be Jp, Hsbc and Goldman that would no doubt be the biggest buyers. Feel free to make fun of my conspiracy theory if you like. lol
