Management is a crapshoot, can be diamonds one day, stones the next, or vice versa! Most good ones arrive through many expieriences, most bad! (Review Peter Munk's history.)

On public markets, unfortunately, SP is the scorecard, and, IMHO, $3.26 is so so! Giving management 6 out of a possible 10! (SP is not a #'s "game," as many would lead us to believe, but is built on perception by promo, not only by the pros (Arness and co???) but by each and every SH. That perception is built through the "storyline," the best of which have Nobel Prize potential! (Munk and Barrick in their formative years! Presently, IMHO, SAN's storyline would have difficulty winning the Bissett Best Short Story award.

The failure is their inaqbility to present the "story" in the most saleable format, enticing the masses not just the geologyand engineering crowds along with a few family friends!

Some of their promo presentation that I've witnessed couldn't sell ice-cream in Vegas when the daytime high is 118 degrees!

That reflects on SP and Management, but with some effort can be turned around in a NY minute!

Murray, the most convincing salesman the gold industry has had in recent memory was by profession a butcher, learning his sales skills selling sausages, weiners and the odd steak in middleclass TO.

When he moved from Bratwurst to promoting jr mining shares, he gave it all he had!

And the SPs "ran like crazy!"

If he was a SH in SAN, $3.26 would have made him "puke!"
