I like the enthusiasm of some of the recent posts on facts and potentials, and SGR must be bargain basement buying area around these prices.
Money flow charts show the outflow from SGR equivalent to the Autumn 2008 crash. But there's been anything but a crash, other than a little correction in POG soem time ago now, which SGR weathered very well.
IMHO, SGR looks OK-priced on the absolute basics - 3moz - but nothing for production, nothing for high grade, nothing for undisclosed discoveries, nothing for untested drill material, nothing for a landscape of the (almost proven) horseshoe lake anticline, nothing for infrastructure. Just a bare bones valuation.
and ps, wouldn't it be wise to just mine high grade gold rather than leave it in the ground- one doesn't have to sell, one can hoard a percentage for the balancesheet and the future, and use paper money now to pay the bills..stupid idea that.
