In case anyone is wondering why gold suddenly, in the space of a couple of minutes, tanked $ 8 after 4:00 p.m., it is probably related to a news release by the IMF that they are going to finally sell that 191 ton lot of gold that is left over from the original 400 ton lot that they had, and they are going to sell it on the open market, if there are no takers from the central banks.
