San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Could is the key word there. The good ground, the ground with the proper rock groups and folds/shears, is all gone. That doesn't mean that say there's nothing in the sediments or felsic volcanics.
In red lake everyone was certain the gold was only in the mafics so they didn't really bother doing too much work in the sediments, then a couple small juniors came in and took a different approach, now we have the rahill-bonanza discovery (which won discovery of the year) a few years back. In developed camps, sometimes you need to think outside the box, it's just hard to find people willing to give you millions to try something unproven. Know what I mean?
A geologist has to make priorities, I think at this time San Gold should concentrate on the areas that are proven and let the small juniors around them take the big risks.
IMO anyways
