If we are still talking about rmx, tko, lsg 10+ times volumes on last Friday, then I think it is pretty obvious it is caused by the TSX/S&P composite index fund buying because all 3 are added to the index a few days ago and we are close to year end. More proof will be that we will watch this kind of drama showing up again in 2010 for these 3 stocks, with no big news, but volume much higher and price much higher. Not sure how big funds buy component shares, but the bottom line is that big chunk of shares are bought and held, the supply of shares decreases mth after mth and the price will jump, assuming business and everything else stay the same.

sgr need move to tsx ASAP with the proven and growing reserves, steady and growing production, solid balance sheet. It has grown up and now need go to the prestigious markets to get formal recognition. TKO is in TSX, I will be surprised if sgr is not qualified unless TSX requires 4 consecutive positive earning qtrs then sgr has to wait one more year, just guessing, someone more familar with TSX pls comment. But when the news that sgr mgmt has a timetable for tsx is out, the stock will jump big time, at least 10% in 2 days. So suffer and buy more now, wait for the coming joy and glory. JMT and GLTA.
