Judging from the number of posts today I'd say we are in the eye of the tempest. Over the past few days the gold bears and the flight to quality commentators have once again re-emerged to make their prognostications about how gold, that barbarous relic,will only continue to decline before the resurging dollar. I say let them have their day. In the meantime let's consider a couple of more things that San has going for it.
1)- San is, for a mining stock, about as environmentally friendly as you can get. No big ugly open pit scaring the landscape and no cyanide filled tailings ponds, in addition to a very low BPO. No permitting problems here.
2)- San provides gainful employment to the local aboriginal people. The effect of this cannot be overstated to those whose know what it is like to suffer from the stigma of chronic unemployment.
