Unfortunately that is the world we are living in. You have to remember that the traders over at G&C are having to deal with millions of online day traders that are perched at the ready to make a nickel here or there. These people couldn't give a peanut about the company, the SH's, or the SP for that matter. They are looking for computer generated siganals to buy and get out the same day. If you were Mr. Cohen and you wanted to load up your Mutual funds with as many of the free trading warrants or the retired debentures as possible, you sure wouldn't want any day trader to get between you and your buys. IMHO all the "shenanigans" are merely to keep the opposition confused. I also loaded up my RRSP's with my core position, however I still have not sold any of my trading shares. In this scary market I am am more comfortable sitting on SGR than anything else. It will be very interesting to see how many SGR are in the Goodman controlled funds. As SGR SP has slowly increased they have made no effort to rebalance their positions and SGR is now the number one holding in almost all of the gold related funds.
