Some nice posts (suck, suck suck).
I've only got limited experience of the European markets, and don't find the market services easy to follow. The dual listed stocks I've watched listed on both TSX/London have matched each-other on a day to day price basis, and I haven't been able to see any special situations to buy cheap. I also had some bad experiences with London AIM listed junior companies. TSX has the liquidity, the worse thing over the last year is that TDW won't allow me to hold C$ in my taxfree ISA, only UKĀ£, so it's not easy to trade the TSX using the ISA account, because TDW take a few percent on each currency change.
On gold, long-gone members of the family went through the German inflation.........a few million and billion mark notes lurk in the drawer.....and gold was a help then
By the way, Yukon passes on his Labour Day greetings
