BCB on the other board noticed:

in the NR dated July 14, 2009 they state this re: the Hinge bulk sample :

5,938 ounces recovered from 11,762 tons mined and processed.

and yet in the Q2 report they say :

- The bulk sample at the Hinge consisted of 10,871 tons of ore and yielded 5,502 ounces of gold.

I spoke to IR today and they provided an explanation: Q2 Hinge numbers only include the ore processed in Q2. The bulk sample processing started at the end of March and continued for a few days in July so the late Q1 and early Q3 numbers aren't in there. Because there were so few days of processing in Q's 1 and 3, it doesn't affect the numbers that much.
