There is a difference between what they are calling an axis and what is now referred to as a lense.

The lense is what we call a vein or a portion of a bigger vein network. Lense #1 through #6 could be termed as one big vein.

The axis is the fold that runs the length (North-South)of the property. I think that the original hinge discovery was called #3 but changed to #4 when they started to see that there were hinges in between.

The 'picture' of what they have discovered as been changing because as they do more exploration they discover new occurences.

I am not a geologist either and I have wondered the same thing as you, but this is a story that just keeps adding chapters and so this has been my thoughts on the subject.
