I agree that Hugh is in it for more of a legacy thing for him and his kids. He's the major of Bisset, walks down the few streets like the king of kensington tipping his hat to everyone he meets. He also owns the hotel and a few other estabishments.

Dale is in his early 40s. I am sure he could think of a few places he would rather be than Bisset for the rest of his life. His salary is not that big so he is looking to make money on cashing in his options and that only happens with a high sp.

I would fall of my bicycle if Goodman gave a rats a$$ about the town of Bisset, in general terms.
