I think when you have a director divulging more info than the CEO that the CEO had better sit up and take notice. From my perspective SAN has lost the confidence of the market at this time. I am sure this will change. either with a change in management or someone wakes up. Doesn't matter how much you discover. If it looks like you can't get the job done then the horse comes in dead last.
