Jay Taylor in the April 14, 2009, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks tells readers to buy San Gold Corp., recently $1.73. Mr. Taylor said buy four times between October, 2006, and August, 2008, at prices ranging from $1 to $1.36. A $1,000 investment for each of the four buys is now worth $5,738. San Gold has eight drill rigs turning at its Rice Lake project in Manitoba. Mr. Taylor says the company recently drilled 7.1 feet grading 2.4 ounces per ton gold at the Hinge area of Rice Lake. Other recent drill results from Hinge include 5.2 feet grading 3.08 ounces per ton gold and 14.4 feet grading 1.25 ounces per ton gold. San Gold expects to put a bulk sample from the Hinge zone through its mill in May. Mr. Taylor thinks the Rice Lake project has the potential to become the next Red Lake mine. He says Red Lake, which is one of the highest-grade gold mines in the world, is hosted in the same package of rocks as the Rice Lake claims. Mr. Taylor notes San Gold's previous problem of finding skilled miners for Rice Lake is no longer an issue, and energy and others costs have come down over the past year. The newsletter says San Gold remains a favourite.
