Prizes:

The following prizes will be awarded: The Winner of the Contest will receive the following:

A – a one (1) oz. solid (.9999) gold bar (approx. value US$1,020);

B – a tour of the San Gold Rice Lake mine near Bisset, Manitoba, including return air travel, meals and accommodation (approx. value US$1,760);

C – the right to post commentaries in the exclusive commentators section of www.kitco.com; and

D – a subscribers’ list for the Winner’s own regular newsletter, compiled from email addresses of Contest entrants, Contest voters and those who provided comments on the Commentaries; provided that the Winner’s newsletter must be free to subscribers for at least one (1) year. The Winner can decide how often he or she will publish. Each of the nine (9) Runners-up will receive thirty (30) oz. of pure (.999) silver (approx. value. US$480). Kitco may offer additional prizes while the Contest is in progress.

Kitco reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize described herein is unavailable. The prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. They may not be redeemed for cash. In writing commentaries on www.kitco.com and the newsletter, the Winner must abide by all terms and conditions established by Kitco for the posting of materials on www.kitco.com. The Winner must be available to take the tour of the San Gold Rice Lake mine within one (1) year after the prize is awarded. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason or does not make reasonable efforts (as determined by Kitco in its sole discretion) to write the newsletter or commentaries or take the tour, Kitco will be entitled to award those prizes to the Runner up with the next highest score in the judging.
