San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
4.4 HOWE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE EXPLORATION The GEMCOM database that is available for the Bissett Mine is a powerful 3D analytical tool and should be utilised to its full capacity. The database includes all of the available mine data from physical openings to survey data with all geological and assay data integrated into this spatial entity. The GEMCOM software can be used to develop threedimensional models of each vein zone in the mine as well as the hanging and footwall contacts of the SAM unit. A. C. A. Howe International Limited Rice Lake Joint Venture, Report on Bissett Mine February 2004 A full and thorough evaluation of the spatial relationships between all of the known veins should be completed and integrated with their relationships to the hanging wall and footwall contacts of the SAM unit. It is highly likely that significant patterns will be recognised from such a 3D analysis. These patterns can be used to develop conceptual ideas that may have hitherto not been recognised from a 2D analysis (i.e. by use of plans, cross sections, and longitudinal sections). Howe would also note that there have been recent advances in geophysical technology (Quantec Titan 24 and GOCAD 3D geophysical modelling) that might allow creation of a 3D model of the SAM unit along strike from the current mine workings. There is at least 7000 feet of relatively unexplored SAM unit on the mining lease to the east and west of the Bissett Mine workings plus an additional 11,000 feet of strike length on the San Norm property to the east. The geometry of the SAM unit is obviously quite critical to the development of lode gold mineralisation within the unit. Combining new geophysical technology with a detailed analysis of the immediate mine area using the GEMCOM software could lead to the definition of exploration areas for potential new ore zones in close proximity to the mill
