In New York, Manulife Financial Corp. fell 3.6 per cent, Royal Bank of Canada fell 2.7 per cent, Research In Motion Ltd. was down 1.6 per cent and Magna International Inc. fell 0.1 per cent. There were gainers, though: Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. rose 0.6 per cent and EnCana Corp. rose 1.1 per cent.
