Veruber,
funny you should mention AG, i have been watching AG for some time now. When they made the first distribution cut from 1.10 to .90, i knew that investors and funds would bail, so i was hoping for a 5.00 target.
I got some of my co-workers interested and showed them a 7 year plan to have the distributions pay for the investment. (at .90) Then the plan changed to 6 year after a big sell off.
After the market started to melt and the SP took a huge hit, my co-workers were all scared away, but they still watch.
When the SP finally went under a buck, I couldn't resist, Ag is a solid company and even if the ice business suffers during a recession, they are not going to be going away. The number 2 packaged ice company in North America has as solid enough revenue stream. And with fuel prices dropping, that will take away the pressure from transportation costs (diesel shortage aside).
I bought 25,000 units and when the share price gets back to 8-9 dollars, i will be laughing, and when they restore the distributions, I will have paid for the units in less than 3 years (i assume .50 cent distributions going forward).
I am a young guy, i can wait for them to get back where they were. This will be my ten bagger for sure, and if SGR can go where they should be going, I could be lucky enough to have 2 ten baggers before i am 40.
Patience is the word, unless you are a Family Guy fan, the word is the BIRD!
