Manitoba has actually been rated as one of, if not the the most mining friendly jurisdiction in the world. Bringing up the NEP, an event that occured in a totally different political and economic environment was pure FUD.
You might have more of the point with the trusts decsion or the royalty increase, but both of those are relatively minor events with hardly any bearing on mining and pale in comparison to the Mongolian profit grab, or what is likely to occur in Ecuador.
