<< it will take more than just the price of gold to make SGR worth more than what it shows today >>
I'm not sure that it will require a higher POG. What could happen very shortly is that the majors start reporting earnings. With the POG very strong the last quarter, the earnings should really catch some attention. Then some large money may start to look at the sector. Yes this will be their first look. Very little money has flowed into the PM sector relative to what can. And of course this is a very small market.
So the earning show a terrific quarter and the next one will be even better (for the producers). So soon the focus will change to companies that have late stage projects or one like SGR that have everything in place and are ramping up. The POG could even drop $100, and this could happen.
Further, with large cash positions, the majors will snap up companies that are undervalued again those late stage projects like Minefinders or large resources with great land holding and expansion potential like SGR.
The hard part for many folks now will be to hold their shares. I've got a few small trading postions that I'll hopefully buy and sell a few more times and bennifit from the volitility. But as for core holdings, they are locked in for at least 4 years.
Anyway we've got a gem here. Just be patient and don't sell too soon.
