| SNS SLIVER TO INTITIATE ITS FIRST PHASE DRILL PROGRAM AT ADVANCED EMERALD LAKE GOLD PROJECT | |
| Vancouver, B.C. December 2nd, 2009– SNS Silver Corporation (“SNS” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: SNS) has begun an initial program that consists of a land survey to tie together all historical terms of reference of the geological setting at Emerald Lake The company has also retained a Drilling company to mobilize an Atlas Copco drill that that is scheduled to arrive at the Emerald Lake site on or around the 5th of December The land survey will be immediately followed by drill target selection for the first 3500 Meters of diamond drilling. Holes will be drilled to an approximate depth of 300 Meters. SNS will utilize these results to identify drill targets for the latter half of the campaign, also consisting of approximately 6500M of drilling. SNS will be targeting previously unexplored extensions of the Emerald Lake project that have been deemed to have potential wide widths of high grade mineralization. The Drill crew will be rotating 3 shifts, 24 hours per day in order to expedite the first phase and rapidly produce marketable results. In addition, SNS has started database building to place all historic data into useable form, resulting in the construction of a 3 dimensional drill hole model. This will enable SNS to move towards its first resource estimate.
