That is dead wrong. When dealing with an underground mine versus an open pit mine the specifics are totally different. Underground mining is narrow vein high grade. Usually most mines drill enough to support 1 or two years of production. And then while producing they are constantly drilling to upgrade resources. The economics are just different from open pit operations.
