I think so. thats just what got reported, lots of highgrade went home with the miners. Old miners told me stories of the Hollinger and McIntyre, all the hotels in Timmins were built on highgrade ore. They say the mines were so rich in the 30ès that highgrade stopes were closed off for future days --Like now.
