Romarco Continues North Zone Expansion with 71 Meters of 2.8 g/t Au at Haile

ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce assay results from five more exploration holes at the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. All these holes were designed to continue the expansion of the mineralized zone encountered in previously released drill holes at the north resource area. Continuing development drilling is being completed to further test the extents of this north resource area, which remains open laterally to east and west and open down plunge to the northeast. The development phase of this specific area is being prioritized against other property targets in order to expand and upgrade as much of the resource as possible before the completion of the next resource estimation. The comparison of the new drill results versus existing results can be seen on a detailed map and cross section appearing on www.romarco.com.

DDH-326, DDH-329, DDH-330, and DDH-331 were all drilled on the northwest portion of the north resource area. DDH-326, DDH-329, DDH-331 intersected continuous mineralized zones in target host rocks that were greater than 70 meters (230 feet) thick, averaging more than 2.0 g/t Au grade. DDH-330, the northwestern most hole of this group failed to return any intervals greater than 2.0 g/t Au. Even with mineralization thinning at DDH-330, the north resource area still remains open to the west-southwest, north and east-northeast.

DDH-328 was drilled along the expanding northeast portion of the north resource area and returned a continuous mineralized interval 32.8 meters (107.6 feet) thick averaging 2.33 g/t Au with an included 10.6 meter (34.8 feet) zone of 4.7 g/t Au. This intercept is an indicator that the north resource area is still open to the north and northeast of DDH-328.

All these latest holes were drilled to the south at a moderately steep angle in order to minimize hole deflection and to transect mineralization nearly perpendicular to its dip. All of the mineralized zones were hosted within silicified quartz-sericite-pyrite phyllites. See the table below for details.

One core drill is currently operating on site, while a reverse circulation rig is being mobilized to the property in order to expedite identifying additional resource areas and follow-up known zones that can be expanded.

Drilling services are being performed by the Eastern U.S. division of Boart Longyear. The core samples are being assayed by Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, NV. The core was halved and sampled with control samples inserted. The results of the control samples were all within acceptable ranges. Romarco’s Qualified Person is Tom Kilbey, Sr. Geologist with the Company.

Romarco Minerals Inc. is a gold development company focused on production in the US and Mexico. The Company’s flagship project is the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina which is currently undergoing exploration drilling, bankable feasibility study and permitting. The Pinos Gold District in Mexico is a high grade epithermal vein district that is currently being drill tested. The Company also has two gold exploration projects in Nevada.
