Message: Golden Chalice Resources Acquires Kenogaming Gold Property in West Timmins along

They initially ran and then took a nose dive afterward for several reasons, many of which were addressed to management by a couple of seemingly industry knowledgable posters who confronted them on issues of disclosure and promotional practices to shareholders deemed detrimental.

From what i recall, the first obvious reason for the major downturn was due to the the general market strength going down the toilet industry wide. This they could not help but the the second reason was very much the opposite being the market catching up with management policy which continually promoted the marketing of the base metal properties which were gradulally returning lower and lower calibre results as the projects progressed. All this happening while management promoted in the opposite direction while releasing only a fraction of the drill hole results along the way.

GCR's funding prowess is a fraction of what it used to be due to a lack of gold properties of merit in and around the central Timmins West Camp which is attracting all of the funding lately. The above managerial practices above sure did not help out the situation either.

GCR has at this point a few more kicks at the can so to speak with a couple of interesting but very grass roots gold exploration propety programs. A small exploration program taking place at Abitibi East adjacent to the explor resources eastford lake project funded by a private third party company (obviously another Hugh's side tactic probably funded by himself) as well as another interesting gold project about 80 kilometers south-west of timmins at Kennogaming.

The present issue revolves around their lack of capital to get involved in the high profile property plays in close proximity to the WTM-LSG Thunder Creek action and as such, are being forced to shelve the base metal stories and concentrate on what are ultimately remote gold plays realistically.

Personally i feel that GCR is still a buy as they are trading at a fraction of what they were and on a numbers game alone with grow with the community of companies sharing the Timmins West story but the days of high growth spurts is over for the forseeable 6 to 12 months. Maybe they can pull a rabbit out of a hat and get lucky at Kennogaming as the property does sit on the Destor Fault and has as good a chance as any to return a deposit. At least they are working it now
