In these economic times base metal producers are mining ore at a very low profit margin. Base metal exploration projects are on hold. When the world economics recover from this flew, nickle and copper will be needed to maintain, and build the infrastructure that is needed as a foundation for economies to build on. If nickel returns to $10 to $15 range I think we will see new production in the Shaw Dome.
Langmuir is only one of GCR's properties. Their Abitibi East property has huge potential. It saw a lot of exploration $'s in 2006, and 2007, before the 1st Langmuir discovery hole. That made Langmuir their priority property, and drove the stock to $4. Management may return to Abitibi and find a Kid Creek size massive sulphide deposit, in its next drill hole. GCR has active exploration and that is what finds new discoveries.
Reptillian and Drillars 01 posting should not be ignored as they are their opinions. Posting here give us all a chance to read the opinions of other investors, both positive, and negative posting, should be allowed. Reptillians comments woke up this sleepy hub. If their news was all positive we would want more. They both sounded informed and had some valid information. Opinions read here are only opinions from others, based, on their believes. I believe that GCR's potential is much larger than the Langmuir property. I invested in GCR before Langmuir's discovery hole, on that belief. I am holding my position
