True! I know some silver companies which have decided to reduce their production because of the severe slump in silver prices. I guess it will be the same with Ni. So I guess it will take at least a 3 months for the Ni stockpiles to deplete and the price of Ni to rise. Concerning GCR we looking at prodcution at least 2 years away from now, so you cannot abandon exploration at this stage.
