Nextblockbuster, if we look at the evidence for the last 6 years at least it is clear that nothing is getting done on the business side of RVX. In fact there have been a number of blunders. I have no problem with blunders. Great businesses make mistakes but great businesses also learn from their errors.

There are some posters who have suggested "better the devil you know". From my perspective we are far past that. One would hope that ORI, Eastern or Hepa want to see some ROI.

At this stage I believe as other posters have suggested the CEO is in a classic case of the Peter Principle in action. This is someting I understand a bit because when I was an executive in a large, leading Canadian company I got into a role I could not handle and yet I struggled to succeed until I was kindly removed from the dliemma. We all want to succeed but sometimes we just don't realize that we lack the skills to deal with the challenges at hand.

Some signs of the Peter Principle at work are the CEO hiding from shareholders and using Covid as an excuse. Another example is the restrictions of questions at AGMs rather than hosting an open discussion. Another example is when updates are entirely focussed on scientific achievements with minimal discussion of business plans other than "we're close but we can't discuss that yet".

I think it is time for Don to become "Emeritus Chairman of the Board" in honour and recognition for being a cofounder of RVX and keeping this little ship afloat for 21 years. That is an accomplishment to be proud of.

The BoD should then elect a new Chairman, someone with and extensive track record in biotech financing.

Then the BoD should develop their strategic plan including who should be on the board and finding a new CEO for RVX.

That being said, at this stage, it a crap shoot. Who knows what tomorrow will bring...a rabbit out of a hat?

Just my opinion. We need to see something happen with this beautiful science. Apologies for the rant!
