I lost a nephew (age 23) to glioblastoma, while wondering for a few years if apabetalone could have helped (he was at the time the longest surviving patient with the disease).  I lost a brother (age 55) to congestive heart failure, while wondering for several years if apabetalone would work.  He died before BETonMace completed.  

My family history is riddled with CVD.  It's all more disturbing to me that I have come to know of the solution only to frustratingly see for years the advancement of this miracle drug being sabotaged by the company's leadership.

Don has a lot of blood on his hands.  That is my personal experience and that is my opinion on the apabetalone tragedy.
