Just a reminder:  We don't "own" the science.  We own a small molecule with a constantly eroding patent window.  

Today scientists are custom designing and building molecules to specifications.   Nothing stops big pharma from acquiring and dedicating select scientists to "get up to speed" on epigenetics.  With AI these days doing amazing things how long is it going be before they start testing AI-designed molecules that are superior to apabetalone?

Sabotage or extreme incompetence?  Either way, he has to know its down-right disgusting, no?  That's why I think that there would be no possible way that he can possess any form of a conscience.  The Board needs to get together, do their job, and kick this moron to the curb!  JMHO
