Great posts to get this conversation rolling Fuzzy and Toinv. Who knows at this point if and when some business will actually get transacted that will set things back in motion. It seems incredible that a compound with all the potential of Apabetalone, not to mention other "clinic ready" compounds, can sit idle for years now while "business people" who have never seemed to know what they are doing continue to dither.
I really don't know how the board and executive of this company can let this go on so long the way it has. Aside from the business shambles, these people must be close to morally and ethically bankrupt to realize that due to their repeated business failings Apabetalone's potential is not being explored in a timely manner. That thousands of patients are potentially not receiving a treatment that could potentially save or greatly improve their lives. Truly a disgrace in my opinion. As others and myself have said, this whole program desperately needs to be put in the hands of competent biotech/pharma professionals.
