Toinv - Thanks for putting the list of ailments that apabetalone could treat up again. Now just for fun go to one or more of the bigger BP's annual reports to the segmented information. Count how many different drugs that BP is selling to treat the symptoms of the ailments on your list. With that info now take a guess at how much revenue could be lost if someone actually got a drug to market to cure some or all of those ailments. Some of the companies that I looked at stated how much sales they had for each individual drug. 

At least from one point of view it is in the best interest of BP's to have RVX continue to bumble along.

From my point of view the company that takes apabetalone to market is going to be handsomely rewarded.

Eversana has taken over most of the business development side of RVX from what I understand. Money and brains continue to be in short supply to allow them to continue the forward motion.
