"We need a deal on funding...."

In my view, there's no chance of anyone giving millions to Don to do a long-term trial like BOM2. An acquisition by a BP is the only possibility. This could be why Dr Wong has left, and Dr Johanssen is involved in his own startup. They have seen the light.
Any BP will want to have total control of BOM2 and any other trials. It could take a long time to negotiate a deal given the due diligence needed, and Don's likely reluctance to push his ego aside and let people with competence and credibility take over. But it will happen. It has to.  Just my opinion.
