By all reports BP have never in history been more flush with free cash and they are always hunting for the next big thing. 

There are many drugs that are far less developed, far less de-risked, far less safe, far less blockbuster, with no FDA Breakthrough Therapy Destination but they are getting funding from BP.  But not for us, and for years now we have heard nothing but the sound of crickets between Don's forward-looking bs statements.

Ori-star had no choice but to convert, imo.  Resverlogix had zero ability to repay that loan so Ori had no real choice but to "convert and hope", or sink the company and get near nothing with a demand for re-payment.  Some people think that "big money" managers don't make mistakes.  They are human and they can get mislead into traps just like the rest of us.  

JMHO
