You were right to call me out on that.

Was having a particularly grumpy, "testy" day when i posted it, and although I meant it at the time, with a cooler head i am thinking it was an overstatement.

Got a bit hot under the collar when i read about the new arrangement w Eversana and def overstated my post.

But then i looked back at a few of the items i had been thinking of, and... i don't think i can really make the assertions i made. 

My apologies. To give a sense of what was under it though...

Just accidentally deleted the first paragraph...but basically it was about the many epigenetic compounds out there for various types of cancers now, several "more specific", some already approved for certain uses...for instance, one for advanced epithelioid sarcoma, an approval that was shortly thereafter expanded to include follicular lymphoma. Not our indications, but adding to that sense of not being "years ahead". 

Also, had just read about a new drug, NOT a BET inhibitor but a targeted protein degrader that inhibits cytokine storm activity and its applications. Think that company was Chimera or Kymera or something.

Also had been reading about a BET inhibitor called SF2523 in combination with an anti-viral having positive effect on combatting covid (that study mentions rvx).

Also had been reading about a couple new BET candidates for sepsis, which has not been one of our indications, but which for various reasons i had dearly hoped would be.

Also, Constellation...the company in which i had originally been wanting to invest when i ended up investing in Resverlogix, has a Phase III trial going for a BET inhibitor and myelofibrosis.I think that one is something like CPI-0610.

Etc. There were several other little examples too, not all coming to mind right now. But all leading to a sense of evaporating lead, even if they were for different indications.

None of that strictly has any bearing on us. The whole combined picture just left me grumpy though - on top of angry re the new Everana arrangement.

So i withdraw that portion of my statement.

I wanted the fact that they were stopping the Phase 2 early but still planning a Phase 3 to be a great indicator. And i suppose it still could be, but that doesn't seem to jive with their current posture.

So... still not feeling it right now, but i should not have posted such strong statements about having lost the lead. Had i taken a moment to cool off i might have thought better of it.  They were based mainly on being annoyed with the company.
